Giovanni Maschio returns with RPM for the 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine

Giovanni Maschio is set to return to the Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine (FRECA) for the 2025 season, once again joining RPM for what will be his third campaign in the series. The Italian driver will continue his journey with the team for a second consecutive year, aiming to build on his experience and results.

Maschio made a strong impression during the 2024 season, notably securing a top-ten finish at Paul Ricard and winning the Pirelli Racelience Award, a prestigious accolade recognizing drivers who consistently showcased resilience by gaining the most positions across the races. His ability to fight through the field and adapt to challenging conditions was a defining aspect of his performances throughout the year.

As he prepares for the 2025 season, Maschio expressed his enthusiasm for the renewed collaboration with RPM: “I am happy to have another chance with the team! Last year didn’t go as we were hoping for, but this year we will try to maximize everything and try to achieve what we missed last year. Big thanks to the team and to my family for giving me this huge opportunity.”

RPM Team Principal Keith Donegan also shared his thoughts on Maschio’s return:“It’s great to continue with Gio for another season. Last year was a big learning curve for him. He managed to score his first points in 2024 so I hope we can make another step forward in 2025.”
