CONFERENZA STAMPA E SHAKEDOWN, PRIMA DEL VIA CON “SPRINT LEGEND RACE”

Nel pomeriggio di oggi si è svolta la Conferenza Stampa di presentazione dell’evento, con tanti campioni sul palco e i rappresentanti del Governo di San Marino. Dopo le ricognizioni e concluse le verifiche pre-gara, motori accesi nello shakedown, prima dello start in serata della spettacolare “Sprint Legend Race”. Domani, venerdì 3 ottobre, partenza del rally alle ore 19.30.

Repubblica di San Marino. Kalle Rovanpera, Stig Blomqvist, Miki Biasion, Gigi Galli, Alister Mc Rae è il parterre de roi che, sul palco di Rallylegend, non ha voluto mancare alla apertura ufficiale di uno degli eventi rally più attesi del mondo. L’entusiasmo che traspariva dalle loro parole è il miglior viatico per l’avvio di Rallylegend numero 23, con la affollata conferenza stampa di presentazione all’interno di Rallylegend Village. Per il Governo della Repubblica di San Marino, hanno portato il loro saluto e l’apprezzamento convinto e concreto Federico Pedini Amati, Segretario di Stato per il Turismo, le Poste, la Cooperazione, l’Expo, l’Informazione e Rossano Fabbri, Segretario di Stato all’Industria, Artigianato, Commercio, Ricerca Tecnologica, Telecomunicazioni e Sport.

“Rallylegend è evento di vertice del palinsesto sportivo e turistico della Repubblica di San Marino. – è stato il parere condiviso – Attira decine di migliaia di appassionati e promuove il paese nel mondo. È una vetrina internazionale sostenuta da sponsor di alta caratura e curata nei minimi dettagli dai massimi esperti di questo tipo di iniziative. Le istituzioni sammarinesi sono da sempre convintamente a fianco a Rallylegend e ne apprezzano l’organizzazione e l’entusiasmo”.

Interventi, a seguire, di Paolo Valli e Vito Piarulli, che hanno descritto Rallylegend 2025, sottolineando il grande passo avanti per la gestione dell’aspetto della sicurezza, con una “control room” in Direzione Gara a livello del Campionato del Mondo Rally, supporti tecnologici di ultima generazione e impiego di personale altamente qualificato. Tutto in stretta collaborazione con Istituzioni, Gendarmeria, Polizia Civile e Protezione Civile. Con gli aspetti logistici e tecnici illustrati da Mauro Zambelli, Coordinatore Generale e Gianluca Marotta, Direttore di Gara, che ha spiegato come viene gestito il rally. In rappresentanza degli sponsor, anzi per meglio dire partner attivi di Rallylegend, Niccolò Bellazzini, A.D. di Sparco.

Nella mattinata si sono concluse le operazioni di verifica preliminare e le ricognizioni del percorso da parte degli equipaggi, mentre i motori sono stati accesi e tanto pubblico già presente allo shakedown, i test pre-gara con le vetture da gara e Legend Stars.

Ma la attesa maggiore è per la “Sprint Legend Race”, la speciale delle rotonde, in notturna, prima occasione per vedere in azione e applaudire le oltre 200 splendide vetture in gara.

DOMANI, VENERDI’ 3, EVENTI NEL RALLY VILLAGE E PARTENZA DELLA PRIMA TAPPA DEL RALLY

Presentazione di tutti gli equipaggi sul palco partenza, sessioni autografi presso le hospitality dei main sponsors, walkabout-visita del parco partenza, insieme ai talk show “Lancia Delta S4 Celebration” e “30th McRae Celebration” sono le attività che venerdì 3 precedono la partenza del rally, il tradizionale Giorno 1, alle ore 19.30.

PRESS CONFERENCE AND SHAKEDOWN BEFORE THE START OF “SPRINT LEGEND RACE”

This afternoon, the press conference to present the event took place, with many champions on stage and representatives of the Government of San Marino. After the reconnaissance and pre-race checks, the engines were fired up for shakedown, before the start of the spectacular “Sprint Legend Race” in the evening. Tomorrow, Friday, October 3rd, the rally will start at 7:30 PM.

The enthusiasm in their words was the perfect start to Rallylegend number 23, with the crowded presentation press conference at Rallylegend Village. On behalf of the Government of the Republic of San Marino, Federico Pedini Amati, Secretary of State for Tourism, Post, Cooperation, Expo, and Information, and Rossano Fabbri, Secretary of State for Industry, Crafts, Trade, Technological Research, Telecommunications and Sport, conveyed to RallyLegend organizers and participants their greetings and heartfelt appreciation.

“Rallylegend is a key event in the Republic of San Marino’s sporting and tourism calendar,” was the consensus. “It attracts tens of thousands of enthusiasts and promotes the country worldwide. It is an international showcase supported by high profile sponsors and is taken care of down to the smallest detail by leading experts in this type of initiative. San Marino institutions have always been firmly behind Rallylegend and appreciate its organization and enthusiasm.”

Paolo Valli and Vito Piarulli followed, describing Rallylegend 2025 and emph asizing the significant step forward in safety management, with a World Rally Championship-level “control room” in Race Direction, state-of-the-art technological support, and the deployment of highly qualified personnel. All in close collaboration with institutions, Gendarmerie, Civil Police and Civil Protection The logistical and technical aspects were illustrated by Mauro Zambelli, General Coordinator, and Gianluca Marotta, Race Director, who explained how the rally is managed.

This morning, the preliminary checks and route reconnaissance by the crews were completed, while the engines were fired up and a large crowd was already present for the shakedown, the pre-race tests with the racing cars and Legend Stars.

But the greatest expectation is for the “Sprint Legend Race,” the nighttime special of the roundabouts, the first opportunity to see and applaud the more than 200 splendid competing cars in action.

TOMORROW, FRIDAY THE 3RD, EVENTS IN THE RALLY VILLAGE AND THE START OF THE FIRST STAGE OF THE RALLY

Presentation of all the crews on the starting podium, autograph sessions at the main sponsors’ hospitality areas, a walkabout tour of the starting park, along with the “Lancia Delta S4 Celebration” and “30th McRae Celebration” talk shows are the activities taking place on Friday the 3rd before the rally’s traditional Day 1 start at 7:30 PM.
