333 piloti al via della 23.ma edizione della Winter Cup, un altro importante traguardo nei record della manifestazione che vanta un Albo d’Oro fra i più prestigiosi. Live Timing da giovedì 15 febbraio e anche Live Streaming domenica 18 febbraio.
Al South Garda Karting di Lonato è in arrivo il primo grande evento dell’anno, l’atteso momento della 23ma edizione della Winter Cup, storica gara internazionale di inizio stagione inserita nel calendario CIK-FIA in programma da giovedì 15 a domenica 18 febbraio 2018.
Il parco partenti è “sold out”, ovvero 333 piloti sui nastri di partenza, e diversi in lista di attesa sulle oltre 350 richieste di iscrizione: in totale sono 100 i piloti in KZ2, 71 nella OK, 90 nella OK-Junior, 72 nella Mini Rok.
Nella storia della Winter Cup questa edizione del 2018 rappresenta il secondo record assoluto dopo quello dei 368 piloti del 2000. L’Albo d’Oro è ricco di nomi eccellenti, a partire da Vitantonio Liuzzivincitore nella prima edizione del 1996 nella categoria 100 ICA. Fra i nomi più eccellenti non mancanoDaniil Kvyat nel 2009 vincitore della KF3, Max Verstappen secondo nel 2011 in KF3 e poi vincitore in KF2 nel 2012 davanti a Antonio Fuoco e sempre in KF2 vincitore anche nell’edizione del 2013, nello stesso anno in cui vinse Alessio Lorandi in KF3 e Charles Leclerc in KZ2. Insomma, una gara di alto spessore agonistico che puntualmente è esaltata dalla presenza di tutte le maggiori case costruttrici, i team e i piloti più qualificati al mondo.

IT’S TIME FOR THE 23RD WINTER CUP IN LONATO
333 drivers are about to make it to the start of the 23rd edition of the Winter Cup, which is another important result that adds on to the records of this event that has one of the most prestigious Hall of Fame of karting. The Live Timing service will be available from Thursday February 15th, while the Live Streaming from Sunday February 18th.
The first big event of the year is approaching fast at South Garda Karting in Lonato. It is nearly time for the much awaited 23rd Winter Cup, the historic international race that kicks off the season and is part of the CIK-FIA calendar will get underway from Thursday February 15th to Sunday 18th 2018.
The event went “sold” out, as 333 drivers are ready to get on track, and several others of the 350 that showed interest are on the waiting list: a total of 100 drivers will compete in KZ2, 71 in OK, 90 in OK-Junior and 72 in Mini Rok.
In the history of the Winter Cup, edition 2018 set the second best participation record, after that of 2000, when 368 drivers took part in the event. The Hall of Fame of this race is packed with excellent names, starting from Vitantonio Liuzzi who won the first edition in category 100 ICA back in 1996. Among the famous names, Daniil Kvyat won KF3 in 2009, Max Verstappen was second in KF3 in 2011 and then won KF2 in 2012 leading Antonio Fuoco, before repeating the KF2 victory in 2013, when Alessio Lorandisecured the win in KF3 and Charles Leclerc in KZ2. In a nutshell, this top class race has always been blessed by the presence of all the main teams and the most important drivers in the world.
