MUSTI-ZANET, CAIROLI-MORI, PEDERSOLI-ADAMO I VINCITORI DI 21° RALLYLEGEND 2023

Con una Porsche 911 RS, una Subaru Impreza gruppo A e una Citroen C3 WRC Plus si sono aggiudicati rispettivamente le tre categorie Historic, Classic e WRC. Rallylegend visto da alcuni grandi ospiti. Si chiude così una 21esima edizione straordinaria di Rallylegend

Dominatore delle tre tappe di Rallylegend tra le “Historic”, è il pavese Matteo Musti, con Marsha Zanet, freschi Campioni Italiani Rally Auto Storiche 2° Raggruppamento, qui al via con la Porsche 911 RS dell’impresa tricolore. Simone Brusori, alla caccia della terza affermazione di categoria a Rallylegend, qui con Salvatore Tridici e anche loro su Porsche 911 RS sono riusciti solo ad avvicinare, per un tratto, il vincitore che però ha di nuovo allungato il passo, fino alla vittoria. Terzo posto per il primo degli equipaggi sammarinesi, quello composto da Stefano Rosati, con Salvatore Tontini e la Talbot Lotus con la quale sono stati presenti a quasi tutte le edizioni di Rallylegend.
Tra le “Classic” netta vittoria del nove volte campione mondiale di motocross Tony Cairoli, in coppia con Eleonora Mori, navigatrice di grande talento, subito a loro agio con la Subaru Impreza 555 Best già di Colin McRae. Cairoli è alla seconda partecipazione e secondo centro a Rallylegend. Dietro a Cairoli una coppia di campioni sudamericani, entrambi tra i protagonisti di vertice del Mondiale Rally Produzione di qualche anno fa. A 12”9 da Cairoli, si è classificato l’argentino Marcos Ligato, al debutto a Rallylegend, con Ruben Garcia alle note, precedendo l’uruguaiano Gustavo Trelles, con Jorge Del Buono, più staccati. Anche Ligato e Trelles, come Cairoli, hanno pilotato Subaru Impreza 555 del progetto Best, per un podio tutto azzurro e giallo, colori da grande emozione. Due equipaggi sammarinesi in quarta e quinta posizione: nell’ordine Marcello Colombini, presenza fissa a Rallylegend, con la BMW M3 E30, piazzamento che ha consentito al suo navigatore Marco Selva di vincere il trofeo intitolato alla memoria di Silvio Stefanelli, che premia il primo in classifica dei codriver della Repubblica del Titano, seguiti da Loris Baldacci e il decano dei navigatori locali Enzo Zafferani.
Nella categoria “WRC” sono stati Luca Pedersoli, più volte campione tricolore in varie serie italiane, e Andrea Adamo, già team principal Hyundai Motorsport, al quaderno delle note, a bordo di una Citroen C3 WRC Plus, i “padroni” del campo, prendendo il comando all’inizio e incrementando il vantaggio sino ai 1’16”6 finali. Seconda piazza per il campione elvetico Sebastien Carron, con Romain Lambiel, a bordo di una Skoda Fabia R5, che hanno dato un tono “legend” alla loro recente Skoda Fabia R5 vestendola con una livrea stile Martini Racing. A chiudere il podio ancora un equipaggio svizzero, quello composto da Mirko Puricelli, con Nicola Medici, su Citroen DS3 WRC, al loro terzo posto a Rallylegend, ma comunque felicissimi di essere stati ancora una volta parte di questo grande evento.

RALLYLEGEND 2023: ANCORA UN SUCCESSO!
Piace sempre più a chi già lo conosce, “prende” inevitabilmente chi lo frequenta per la prima volta. Anche Rallylegend numero 21 raccoglie unanimi consensi, anche tra i grandi personaggi che sono stati, in questi giorni, a San Marino.
Antonello Coletta, Responsabile Attività Sportive Ferrari GT: “Complimenti agli Organizzatori per il bellissimo evento, ricco di tifosi e appassionati. Mi ha fatto piacere ricevere il riconoscimento per la vittoria alla 24 Ore di Le Mans 2023 e l’esperienza a bordo della Ferrari 308 GTB pilotata da “Lucky” Battistolli. E’ stata per me una entusiasmante novità”.
Miki Biasion riesce ancora a stupirsi a Rallylegend: “Un abbraccio di pubblico più grande e più intenso di sempre. Ogni anno per me è bellissimo immergermi nell’affetto di tanti fan, percepire quanto ancora le imprese di noi piloti di qualche anno fa sono ancora impresse nella memoria di tanti. E alla fine di questi quattro giorni sono stanco ma tanto felice”.
Dani Sordo era al suo primo Rallylegend: “Ne ho sempre sentito parlare tanto in termini di grande entusiasmo ma devo dire che venire a contatto con questo fantastico evento supera ogni fantasia. Bellissimo, una atmosfera che si trova solo qua. Voglio tornare e guidare per tutto il rally, dare spettacolo per quattro giorni per divertire e divertirmi”.
Juha Kankkunen è un altro dei grandi che non manca mai a Rallylegend: “Ormai da tanti anni sono presente a Rallylegend. Nel tempo, ho disputato il rally, ho dato spettacolo tra le Legend Stars e quest’anno sono stato festeggiato per il 30 anni del mio quarto e ultimo titolo mondiale. Essere qua ormai per me è come essere in famiglia, con tanti tifosi che si ricordano di me”.
Renè Arnoux un campione di Formula 1 “atterrato” a Rallylegend: “E’ il mio secondo Rallylegend. Lo scorso anno sono rimasto stregato da tutto quello che succede qua e quest’anno ho dato una mano a portare qui alcuni pezzi rari del museo Renault. Mi piacciono un sacco il clima e la passione che si respirano qui, unici!”.

Paolo Valli e Vito Piarulli, organizzatori di Rallylegend: “Anno dopo anno, Rallylegend riesce a stupire anche noi! Anche quest’anno siamo riusciti a presentare una edizione di Rallylegend con contenuti originali e che, evidentemente, vanno incontro ai desideri di tantissimi appassionati. Non è facile, ma ci impegniamo tutto l’anno e i risultati ci confortano. Adesso ci metteremo subito al lavoro per il prossimo anno”. 

MUSTI-ZANET, CAIROLI-MORI, PEDERSOLI-ADAMO THE WINNERS OF THE 21ST RALLYLEGEND 2023

With a Porsche 911 RS, a Subaru Impreza group A and a Citroen C3 WRC Plus they won the three categories Historic, Classic and WRC respectively. Rallylegend seen by some great guests. This marks the end of the 21st extraordinary edition of Rallylegend

Dominant in the three stages of Rallylegend among the “Historic” is Matteo Musti from Pavia, with Marsha Zanet, new Italian Rally Auto Storiche 2° Raggruppamento champions, here at the start with Porsche 911 RS. Simone Brusori, chasing the third category victory at Rallylegend, here with Salvatore Tridici and also on a Porsche 911 RS, only managed to get close, for a while, to the winner who, however, extended his pace again, up to the victory. Third place for the first of the San Marino crews, the one composed of Stefano Rosati, with Salvatore Tontini aboard of Talbot Lotus with which they were present in almost all editions of Rallylegend.
Among the “Classic” it was a clear victory for the nine-time world motocross champion Tony Cairoli, paired with Eleonora Mori, a very talented co-driver, who were immediately at ease with Colin McRae’s Subaru Impreza 555 Best. Cairoli is at his second participation and second target at Rallylegend. Behind Cairoli a couple of South American champions, both among the top protagonists of the World Rally Production Championship a few years ago. The Argentinian Marcos Ligato, making his debut at Rallylegend, with Ruben Garcia at notes, who finished 12″9 behind Cairoli, preceding the Uruguayan Gustavo Trelles, with Jorge Del Buono, further behind. Ligato and Trelles, like Cairoli, also drove Subaru Impreza 555s from the Best project, for an all-blue and yellow podium, very exciting colours. Two San Marino crews in fourth and fifth position: in this order Marcello Colombini, a regular presence at Rallylegend, with the BMW M3 E30, a position which allowed his co-driver Marco Selva to win the trophy named in memory of Silvio Stefanelli, which rewards the first in the ranking of the codrivers of the Republic of Titan, followed by Loris Baldacci and the experienced local co-driver Enzo Zafferani.
In the “WRC” category, Luca Pedersoli, multiple Italian champion in various Italian series, and Andrea Adamo, former Hyundai Motorsport team principal, were the “masters” of the field, on board of a Citroen C3 WRC Plus., taking the lead at the start and increasing the lead until the final 1’16”6. Second place for the Swiss champion Sebastien Carron, with Romain Lambiel, aboard a Skoda Fabia R5, who gave a “legend” tone to their recent Skoda Fabia R5 by dressing it in a Martini Racing style livery. Closing out the podium is another Swiss crew, the one made of Mirko Puricelli, with Nicola Medici, on Citroen DS3 WRC, in their third place at Rallylegend, but still very happy to have once again been part of this great event.

RALLYLEGEND 2023: A SUCCESS OVER THE YEARS!
Those who know Rallylegend, are more and more in love with it, and those who come for the for the first time, inevitably fall in love with it. Rallylegend number 21 obtains unanimous approval, even among the illustrious guests who have been in San Marino in these days.
Antonello Coletta, Head of Ferrari GT Sports Activities: “Congratulations to the organizers for the wonderful event, full of fans and enthusiasts. I was pleased to receive recognition for the victory at the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans and the experience aboard the Ferrari 308 GTB driven by “Lucky” Battistolli. It has been an exciting news for me.”
Miki Biasion is still surprised by Rallylegend: “A bigger and more intense hug from the public than ever. Every year it is wonderful for me to immerse myself in the affection of so many fans, to perceive how much the performances of us drivers from the past are still imprinted in the memories of many. At the end of these four days I am tired but very happy.”
Dani Sordo  at his first Rallylegend: “I’ve always heard a lot about RallyLegend in terms of great enthusiasm but I have to say that coming into contact with this fantastic event overcomes all fantasies. Beautiful, an atmosphere that can only be found here. I want to come back and drive the whole rally, entertain fans for four days and have fun.”
Juha Kankkunen is another Legend who never misses Rallylegend: “I have been present at Rallylegend for many years now. Over time, I took part in the rally, I put on a show among the Legend Stars and this year I was celebrated for the 30th anniversary of my fourth and last world title. Being here now for me is like being in the family, with many fans who remember me.”
Renè Arnoux, a Formula 1 champion who “landed” at Rallylegend: “It’s my second Rallylegend. Last year I was enchanted by everything that happens here and this year I helped bring some rare pieces from the Renault museum here. I really like the athmosphere and the passion that can be felt here, unique!”.
Paolo Valli and Vito Piarulli, organizers of Rallylegend: “Year after year, Rallylegend still surprises us, too! Also this year we managed to present an edition of Rallylegend with original content which, evidently, meets the wishes of many enthusiasts. It’s not easy, but we work hard all year and the results comfort us. Now we’ll get to work straight away for next year.”
