SECONDA TAPPA, DI GIORNO, A RALLYLEGEND: SPETTACOLO, AGONISMO E UNA FOLLA ENORME

Confermati i leader di categoria delle prima tappa. “Speed legend” presso lo stand Sparco, evento clou del sabato a rally village. Le Parade accendono il pubblico: è il turno di 30° Subaru Impreza Parade.

Tanto, tantissimo pubblico, un abbraccio enorme e a momenti soffocante. Ci vogliono essere tutti a Rallylegend , che oggi presentava la seconda tappa del rally, prima alla luce del giorno. Bella la lotta in testa alla classifica delle “Historic”, dove il neo campione italiano rally auto storiche Matteo Musti, con con Marsha Zanet a fianco (Porsche 911 RS) sono riusciti a portare fino a 18”3 il vantaggio su Simone Brusori e Salvatore Tridici, anche loro su Porsche 911 RS. Terzo e primo degli equipaggi sammarinesi in classifica quello composta da Stefano Rosati, sempre presente a Rallylegend con la sua Talbot Lotus, dove lo affianca Salvatore Tontini.
Ancora tre Subaru Impreza 555 in testa alla classifica delle “Classic” e, come a fine tappa uno, è ancora Tony Cairoli, con Eleonora Mori al quaderno delle note, a menare la danza, anche se non riesce a staccare il deciso pilota argentino Marcos Ligato, con Ruben Garcia alle note, per più di circa 6 secondi, mentre accusa un ritardo di oltre un minuto il terzo sul podio, Gustavo Trelles, con Jorge Del Buono, equipaggio uruguaiano.
La categoria “WRC” anche al termine di questa seconda tappa vede confermarsi in testa alla classifica Luca Pedersoli, affiancato da Andrea Adamo, con la Citroen C3 Wrc Plus, che incrementano il loro vantaggio fino ad oltre 45 secondi sul secondo equipaggio in classifica, che è ancora quello composto dagli svizzeri Sebastien Carron e Romain Lambiel su Skoda Fabia R5. Ancora due equipaggi elvetici al terzo posto, dove troviamo ancora Puricelli-Medici (Citroen DS3 WRC). Al sesto posto assoluto il più volte campione italiano rally Piero Longhi, con Marco Miroballi, che si sono ben difesi con la grintosa ma meno potente Renault Clio Super 1600.

Affollato di spettatori come tutti gli eventi al Rally Village, “Speed Legend” è il momento in cui Rallylegend premia i campioni di tutte le specialità con meriti particolarmente “leggendari” nel motorsport. Allo stand Sparco si sono riuniti Renè Arnoux, Toni Cairoli, Marco Melandri, Antonello Coletta, Alessandro Alunni Bravi. Madrina dell’evento Sabrina Salerno, che ha consegnato le targhe ricordo personalizzate. Premio speciale per Antonello Coletta, responsabile attività sportive GT di Ferrari, per i grandi risultati di questa stagione, tra cui spicca la vittoria alla 24 Ore di Le Mans del centenario con la 499P. Coletta al termine di “Speed Legend” è salito al fianco di “Lucky” Battistolli sulla Ferrari 308 GTB rally sulla “The Legend” in una Parade davvero unica e, per lui, indimenticabile.

A precedere il rally, per mandare in ebollizione un pubblico già caldissimo, una miscellanea di Toyota Yaris GR Rally1, Hyundai i20 WRC, Lancia Stratos, Renault 5 Turbo, Lancia Delta Integrale, guidate dai più bei nomi del rallismo mondiale di ieri e di oggi. Senza soluzione di continuità, tra oggi e domani, sul tracciato della “The Legend”, che diventa un contenitore di emozioni. Ma soprattutto oggi è stato il turno della sfilata di “30° Subaru Impreza Parade”, una dozzina di iconiche Impreza 555 gruppo A dal passato leggendario, guidate tra gli altri da Jimmy McRae, Alister Mc Rae e Piero Liatti. Uno spettacolo raro e finora mai visto, una idea nata in collaborazione tra Best Impreza di Carlo Boroli e Vito Piarulli per Rallylegend, accolto da un boato di entusiasmo da parte della folla sterminata ad assistere.

DAYTIME LEG 2 AT RALLYLEGEND: ENTERTAINMENT, COMPETITION AND A HUGE CROWD

Confirmed the category leaders of leg one. “Speed legend” at Sparco booth, the highlight of Saturday at rally village. The Parades excite the public: it’s the moment of 30th Subaru Impreza Parade.

Loads and loads of people, a huge and at times suffocating hug. Everybody wants to be at
Rallylegend, which today presented Leg 2 of the rally, first in daylight.
Nice fight at the top of the “Historic” rankings, where the new Italian historic car rally champion Matteo Musti, with Marsha Zanet alongside (Porsche 911 RS) managed to extend their lead over Simone Brusori and Salvatore Tridici up to 18″3, also on a Porsche 911 RS. Third and first in the ranking of the San Marino crews that of Stefano Rosati, always present at Rallylegend with his Talbot Lotus, with Salvatore Tontini.
Again three Subaru Impreza 555 at the top of the “Classic” rankings and, as at the end of leg one, it is still Tony Cairoli, with Eleonora Mori at notes, leading the dance, even if he is unable to leave behind the determined Argentine driver Marcos Ligato, with Ruben Garcia at notes, for more than about 6 seconds, while a delay of more than a minute separate the third on the podium, Gustavo Trelles, with Jorge Del Buono, Uruguayan crew. The “WRC” category sees again Luca Pedersoli confirming at the top of the ranking at the end of this second leg, with Andrea Adamo, aboard the Citroen C3 Wrc Plus, who increased their lead to over 45 seconds over the second crew which is still the one made of the Swiss Sebastien Carron and Romain Lambiel on Skoda Fabia R5. Two more Swiss crews in third place, where we still find Puricelli-Medici (Citroen DS3 WRC). In sixth place overall, the multiple Italian rally champion Piero Longhi, with Marco Miroballi, who defended their place with the spirited but less powerful Renault Clio Super 1600.

Crowded with spectators like all the events at the Rally Village, “Speed Legend” is the moment in which Rallylegend rewards the champions of all specialties with particularly “legendary” merits in motorsport. Renè Arnoux, Toni Cairoli, Marco Melandri, Antonello Coletta and Alessandro Alunni Bravi gathered at Sparco stand. Godmother of the event Sabrina Salerno, who handed personalized plaques. Special award for Antonello Coletta, head of GT sporting activities at Ferrari, for the great results this season, among which the victory at the centenary 24 Hours of Le Mans with the 499P. At the end of “Speed Legend” Coletta joined “Lucky” Battistolli on the Ferrari 308 GTB rally on “The Legend” in a truly unique and, for him, unforgettable Parade.

THE PUBLIC ON FIRE WITH PARADES: IT’S THE TURN OF THE 30TH SUBARU IMPREZA PARADE
Preceding the rally, to add fire on crowd already on fire, was a mix of Toyota Yaris GR Rally1, Hyundai i20 WRC, Lancia Stratos, Renault 5 Turbo, Lancia Delta Integrale, driven by the best names in world rallying of yesterday and today. Without a solution of continuity, between today and tomorrow, on the route of “The Legend”, which becomes a container of emotions. But above all, today was the turn of the “30th Subaru Impreza Parade“, a dozen iconic Impreza 555 group A with a legendary past, driven among others by Jimmy McRae, Alister Mc Rae and Piero Liatti. A rare and hitherto unseen show, an idea born as cooperation between Carlo Boroli’s Best Impreza and Vito Piarulli for Rallylegend, welcomed by a roar of enthusiasm from the huge crowd attending.
