VENTI TITOLI MONDIALI PRESENTANO IL 21° RALLYLEGEND AL RALLY VILLAGE

Nella Conferenza Stampa di oggi, “premesse per un grande evento internazionale” il leit motiv degli interventi di Jari-Matti Latvala, Juha Kankkunen, Biasion, Tony Cairoli, Dani Sordo, insieme a Teodoro Lonfernini, Mauro Zambelli, Andrea Albani, Paolo Valli, Vito Piarulli.

Venti titoli mondiali sul palco di Rallylegend, per presentare l’edizione 2023 dell’evento rally più bello del mondo. Oggi nel Rally Village, tutti insieme, Jari Matti Latvala, cinque titoli già in bacheca, tre tra i Costruttori e due (quasi tre …) tra i piloti in veste di Team Principal Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, Juha Kankkunen, quattro titoli mondiali rally piloti, Miki Biasion, due corone iridate, Tony Cairoli, addirittura nove volte in cima al mondo nel motocross, hanno manifestato grande feeling per Rallylegend, che conoscono ormai molto bene e al quale cercano di non mancare. Dani Sordo, pilota ufficiale Hyundai Motorsport è alla sua prima volta a Rallylegend. “Ne ho sentito parlare tante volte un po’ in tutto il mondo e non vedevo l’ora di essere qui”.  Anche Alister McRae era sul palco, insieme a Carlo Boroli, anima di “Best Impreza”, per presentare “30° Subaru Impreza” uno degli eventi clou di Rallylegend 21. Pareri e affetto importanti, molto apprezzati da Teodoro Lonfernini, Segretario di Stato al Lavoro e allo Sport della Repubblica di San Marino, che ha sottolineato l’importanza sempre maggiore dell’evento per il territorio, dal punto di vista economico, promozionale e sportivo: “Anno dopo anno ribadiamo l’importanza di Rallylegend quale evento clou del palinsesto sportivo e turistico della Repubblica di San Marino. Rallylegend attira decine di migliaia di appassionati e promuove il paese nel mondo. È una vetrina internazionale sostenuta da sponsor di alta caratura e curata nei minimi dettagli dai massimi esperti di questo tipo di iniziative. Le istituzioni sammarinesi sono da sempre accanto a Rallylegend e ne apprezzano l’organizzazione e l’entusiasmo!”.
Più tecnico l’intervento del Direttore di gara Mauro Zambelli, che ha illustrato le novità, la struttura e il percorso di Rallylegend 2023. E la principale è la prova speciale del venerdì sera al Misano World Circuit , un evento nell’evento in collaborazione con lo staff dell’autodromo, guidato da Andrea Albani, Managing Director Misano World Circuit, che ha rivolto un saluto via video. Il saluto dell’Organizzazione è stato portato dai due “inventori” di Rallyegend, Paolo Valli e Vito Piarulli, capaci ogni anno di proporre un Rallylegend “over the top”.

RALLYLEGEND È ANCHE UN LIBRO. PRESENTATO NEL RALLY VILLAGE, CON KANKKUNEN E BIASION
Con due padrini di battesimo come Juha Kankkunen e Miki Biasion – sei titoli mondiali rally in totale – è stato presentato a Rallylegend Expò il libro “Rallylegend 20venti di passione”, edito da Artioli voluto da Paolo Valli e Vito Piarulli, presente alla presentazione del volume, per fissare nella memoria i primi venti anni di un evento divenuto iconico. A parlare del libro anche gli autori, Andrea Cordovani e Leo Todisco Grande che con il racconto delle venti edizioni e una scelta fotografica accattivante hanno reso Rallylegend un libro che non può mancare nella biblioteca di un appassionato. Juha Kankkunen e Miki Biasion sono da lungo tempo protagonisti acclamati e protagonisti in prova speciale dell’evento sammarinese: conoscono bene la storia di Rallylegend e il loro parere entusiasta sul libro, dopo averlo sfogliato insieme, è il miglior sigillo di qualità per l’opera. A fine presentazione, intervento a sorpresa di Renè Arnoux, uno degli ultimi “aficionado” di Rallylegend.

TWENTY WORLD TITLES PRESENT THE 21ST RALLYLEGEND AT RALLY VILLAGE

During today’s Press Conference, “premises for a great international event” was the leitmotif of the speeches by Jari-Matti Latvala, Juha Kankkunen, Biasion, Tony Cairoli, Dani Sordo, together with Teodoro Lonfernini, Mauro Zambelli, Andrea Albani, Paolo Valli and Vito Piarulli.

Twenty world titles on Rallylegend stage, to present the 2023 edition of the most beautiful rally event in the world. This afternoon, in the Rally Village, all together, Jari Matti Latvala, five titles already on the board, three among Manufacturers and two (almost three…) among the drivers as Team Principal Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT, Juha Kankkunen, four world rally drivers’ titles , Miki Biasion, two world championship titles, Tony Cairoli, nine times at the top of the world in motocross, have shown great affection for Rallylegend, which they now know very well and which they try not to miss.

Dani Sordo, official Hyundai Motorsport driver, is at Rallylegend for the first time. “I’ve heard about it many times all over the world and I couldn’t wait to be here.” Alister McRae was also on stage, together with Carlo Boroli, soul of “Best Impreza”, to present the “30th Subaru Impreza” one of the key events of Rallylegend 21. Important opinions and affection, much appreciated,  by Teodoro Lonfernini, Secretary of State for Work and Sport of the Republic of San Marino, who underlined the ever-increasing importance of the event for the territory, from an economical, promotional and sporting point of view: “Year after year we reiterate the importance of Rallylegend as pillar of the sports and tourism agenda of the Republic of San Marino. Rallylegend attracts tens of thousands of fans and promotes the country around the world. It is an international showcase supported by high-calibre sponsors and taken care of to the smallest detail by the leading experts in this sector. San Marino institutions have always been close to Rallylegend and appreciate its organization and enthusiasm!”

The intervention of The Clerk of the Course Mauro Zambelli was more technical, illustrating the innovations, the structure and the route of Rallylegend 2023. The main innovation is the special stage on Friday evening at the Misano World Circuit, an event within the event in collaboration with the racetrack staff, led by Andrea Albani, Misano World Circuit Managing Director, who greeted via video. The Organization’s greeting was brought by the two “inventors” of Rallyegend, Paolo Valli and Vito Piarulli, capable of proposing an “over the top” Rallylegend each year.

With two godfathers such as Juha Kankkunen and Miki Biasion – six world rally titles in total – the book “Rallylegend 20 of Passion” was presented at Rallylegend Expo, published by Artioli and wanted by Paolo Valli and Vito Piarulli: the last was present at the presentation of the volume , to fix in the memory the first twenty years of an event that has become iconic. At the end of the presentation, a surprise speech by Renè Arnoux, one of the latest Rallylegend “aficionados”.
